God sent me here – A Homily on God’s Providence
"And now do not be distressed, or angry with yourselves, because you sold me here; for God sent me before you to preserve life" (Genesis 45:5).

O tender and strong guardian mine, St. Joseph, expand my heart.
Grant to all of us the ability to dream, that when we dream great things, beautiful things, we might draw near to the dream of God, the things God dreams about us. [I ask] that [St. Joseph] might give to young people – because he was young – the capacity to dream, to risk, to undertake the difficult tasks they have seen in dreams. And [I ask] him to give to all of us the faithfulness that tends to grow when we have a just attitude – Joseph was just – [the faithfulness that] grows in silence, with few words; that grows in tenderness that guards our own weaknesses and those of others.
Dear St. Joseph...
If I've consecrated myself to the blessed mother and turned over all my graces to her, her can I consecrate myself to St. Joseph? I have a great devotion to him but is consecration to him and Mother Mary the correct thing to do.
