The Church Alive – Homily for the 6th Sunday of Easter

This weekend, Father Josh Johnson invited me to visit and serve at St. Aloysius in Baton Rouge. Here’s the homily from the 11am Mass.

I said that, as Christians, we should be studying. Here are a few resources for your study:

The Bible App (free), with many audio versions. The English Standard Version (ESV) is the best translation with an audio track on the app. Unfortunately it is missing a few books from the Old Testament.

Dr. Brant Pitre (not free, but worth it)

Ascension Press Studies (not free, but worth it)

Ascension Presents (free)

Catholic Community Radio1380 AM (WPYR, Baton Rouge); 690 AM (WQNO, New Orleans) – The people at CCR told me last week that the signal would soon reach both Houma and Thibodaux. I’m not sure if it’ll make it quite as far as Morgan City.
